Pryme Tymers
Pryme Tymers is an outreach of the church to
the senior citizens of the community. The group
meets the second and fourth Thursday of each
month except July and August. They provide a
program at 11 A.M., either entertainment or
informative, and a luncheon catered by
Mrs.Louise Pitluck, at noon.
The cost at the door is $6 per person and
reservations are required. The yearly
membership dues and free-will offerings at each
meeting help defray additional costs. Volunteers
from the church dutifully serve at the luncheons.
Our meals are all prepared by Chef Pitluck and
her staff. Reservations are required and need to
be made no later than the Friday before we
meet. Call the church office (708-422-5111) or
check your name on the sign-up sheet in the
front hallway on the Pryme Tymers bulletin board.
Pryme Tymers encourage charitable projects, i.e.
collecting non-perishable food items and paper
goods for the Salvation Army local food pantry;
also other worthy projects to collect for U.S.
military personnel, for hospital, and for
community needs, plus the welfare of our
members. The group collects and delivers
non-perishables to the Salvation Army.
