Pryme Tymers

Pryme Tymers is an outreach of the church to the senior citizens of the community. The group meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month except July and August.  They provide a program at 11 A.M., either entertainment or informative, and a luncheon at noon.

The cost at the door is $7 per person and reservations are required. The yearly membership dues and free-will offerings at each meeting help defray additional costs. Volunteers from the church dutifully serve at the luncheons.

Reservations are required and need to be made no later than the Friday before we meet.  Call the church office (708-422-5111) or check your name on the sign-up sheet in the front hallway on the Pryme Tymers bulletin board.

Pryme Tymers encourage charitable projects, i.e. collecting non-perishable food items and paper goods for the Salvation Army local food pantry; also other worthy projects to collect for U.S. military personnel, for hospital, and for community needs, plus the welfare of our members.  The group collects and delivers non-perishables to the Salvation Army.

Our Program Lineup through December:

October 11 Peter Miletic.    Come join us as we sing-a-long with the Piano Man Peter Miletic.   At noon, a catered  Roast Pork luncheon will be served.

October 25 Heather Bradudakis.  .  Heather, a newcome to Pryme Tymers, will present a program titled "Girls of the 50's" - remember Doris Day, Dinah Shore, Patti Page, Judy Garland and Theresa Brewer?  At noon, a catered Beef Stew luncheon will be served.

November 8Maureen Christine.  Maureen will bring songs that inspire us!  Give thanks for all of our blessings!  A noon, a catered Turkey Breast luncheon will be served.

December 13Musichorale.  Returning once again by popular demand, the southside Musichorale will entertain with a beautiful Christmas Concert.  At noon, a catered Ham luncheon will be served.

Circle the dates on your calendar now.  Don't forget to call the church office (708-422-5111) to make your reservation no later than the Friday before we meet.  NOTE:  Late callers cannot be guaranteed preferred seating.

Remember to bring canned goods for the Salvation Army Food Pantry, greeting cards for the Garden Center, yarn for the Crafty Caring Hands and glasses for the Lions Club.  Thank You.
